HOW DO I MAKE A RESERVATION, MAKE PAYMENTS AND GET THE KEYS?

request a reservation
from our website by filling out the information form provided. If Heron's Nest
is available, we will notify you and send a Rental Agreement and Reservation Confirmation
that must be signed and returned to us within two weeks of receipt along with your
initial payment of 1/2 the rental fee. The balance of the rental fee plus a $100.00
security deposit is due at least 2 weeks prior to your arrival, at which time we
will mail the keys to you. We accept personal checks, traveler's checks, money
orders, or cashier's checks.
RATES, TAXES AND SECURITY DEPOSIT:
While we try to keep all rate information as up-to-date as possible, Heron's
Nest's published rates are subject to change without notice. All rentals
of less than 11 days are subject to the applicable sales taxes: Georgia Sales Tax
= 7% + Hotel/Motel Tax = 6%). A security deposit of $100.00 is charged with the
second payment of fees due and will be refunded within 2 weeks of vacating rental
as long as there is no property damage, theft or excessive cleaning required. Upon
your check-out, the housekeeper will ensure that the property is left in good order.
Holiday rates: Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Eve, St. Patrick's
Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day are rented at the PEAK
season prices.
MINIMUM STAY:
Heron's Nest offers Weekly, Nightly, and Monthly rentals. Heron's
Nest is available primarily on a weekly basis from Memorial Day to
Labor Day. We offer Saturday-Saturday rentals for most of the year; call for details.
We offer nightly rentals primarily during the OFF season. If the property
is available for a Last Minute Reservation, you may be able to reserve that
property on a nightly basis during the PEAK season. The minimum stay for
all nightly rentals is three nights.
ABSOLUTELY NO HOUSE PARTIES ALLOWED:
Heron's Nest has a “No-Group” Policy, which includes but is not limited
to the following: school, fraternal, spring break, graduation, prom, or wedding
parties. We reserve the right to terminate occupancy without refund if this should
occur.
MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY:
The number of guests occupying Heron's Nest is limited to 2 with the
exception of an infant requiring a crib.
CHECK-IN/OUT TIMES:
Check-in time is 4 PM and check-out time is 11 AM unless otherwise specified.
HOUSEKEEPING:
Heron's Nest will be equipped with bed linens, towels and bath and kitchen
amenities. Our housekeeper will have cleaned before check-in and after you
check out.
FURNISHINGS:
Heron's Nest is privately owned and furnished. The descriptions were
accurate at the time of printing or posting of any advertising, but subsequent renovations
by the Owner may result in changes.
MAINTENANCE:
Heron's Nest makes every effort to keep the equipment and appliances
in working order. Repairmen may enter the property during business hours for
the repair, care or maintenance of the property. We will do our best to have
any malfunction repaired quickly.
SMOKING:
Heron's Nest is NON SMOKING, however smoking on outdoor porches
is permitted.
CANCELLATIONS:
In case of a cancellation 30 days or more prior to arrival for a weekly rental,
a $50.00 cancellation fee will be deducted from the refund of your 1st
payment. If the cancellation occurs within 30 days of arrival and we are unable
to rent the property for the cancelled period, we will not be able to refund your
1st payment fees, but we will apply such payment as a credit towards
a rental at a future available date.
TERMINATION OF RENTAL:
Heron's Nest reserves the right to refuse or discontinue occupancy if,
in its opinion, the guest is detrimental to the property.
